At the event organized by BLUMORPHO on Friday, June 6th, as part of the UNOC conference, I had the great pleasure of meeting Jason Giffen and Paula Sylvia — respectively Chief Sustainability and Innovation Officer, and Program Director for Aquaculture, Blue Technology, and the Blue Economy Incubator at the Port of San Diego. Their insights and experience in this field are highly valuable for our training programmes on sustainable port cities. I was delighted to invite them to join our panel of speakers for the English edition of the AIVP and IIPC course on Sustainable Port Cities, scheduled to begin in January 2026.
